Singing In The Rain.

Christiano Ronaldo, who? Wayne Rooney, who? Dimitar Berbatov, who? Manchester United, who? Who was it today that ruled? A fan´s faith has been restored. Fine, by no means was it a fantastic match and Arsenal gave Mancs way too many places, but who cares? Arsenal 2-1 Manchester United. I really feel the need to gloat after a disasterous week and a half. I was prepared for ManUs ugly win, who wasn´t... Gallas, Almunia and Denilson had decided to show every single person doubting them that they can do it. And they did. I can´t remember when was the last time the Brazilian played that well, even with Fabregas. The Spaniard seems to be struggling a bit, but now he can improve.

I have to give a huge thumbs up for Clichy for keeping Ronaldo in control. At times I forgot the most annoying player in the world was there. The referee was an ass, on the Mancs side, but I don´t care. Nasri was stellar, two goals, no one else could have been the Man of the Match. He is so worth it. And yes, I dislike Rooney and Ronaldo now even more. The fucking bright side, ManU has 1 point from three games against the Big Four after playing all of them. Arsenal has 3 points and they have played just one. In your face. I´m jubilant right now, who isn´t, but they need to keep up with this. See you next week beating Aston Villa, thank you.

And to top the great football day, HSV took a 2-1 over Dortmund. Some kind of lucky numbers today. Thank god I didn´t put a bet in, I would have lost. That much I trust my own...

I have found myself extremely busy in the last two days. Weird. Ok, yesterday was the "studying" day. Which, like always was so much fun. The right answers could be a good puchase, two people trying to guess what the right answer is. Not the best way to learn.

And Thursday was a day to be spent in a mall. Trying to find Dad a Father´s Day gift. In the end I did, but wandering in a bookstore trying to guess what he might want to read was pain. I would read half of the books on display, but my Dad wouldn´t. And I just couldn´t pick up the Swedish thriller I´d love to read, because he probably wouldn´t like it. I did find a book about motorbikes he´ll most likely will love, so in the end, I got the problem solved. And I did get the Swedish thriller to myself, but I have three books to be read before I can start with it. Enough until Christmas I think.

Wandering in the mall (a small one) was fun. Window shopping at the jewelry stores... Yes, I would love to get a new ring. And I was looking for a present for my Mum too. I just cannot get why everything I like is so expensive. I saw this lovely handbag that cost 68 euros... Not exactly fitting into my budget. At least I now have a Christmas gift -list of some kind :D.

I finished reading The Carpenter´s Pen and I liked it very much. Rivas is very good at depicting little things and his characters were all interesting. I kind of wish the book had had more pages. Now it ended too soon. I have started my next book, but I´m not saying anything of it before I´ve read more then three chapters. But it seems to be an excellent novel. A really excellent.

I should actually do some studying too, maybe now that I have my wonderful bed back. And my back is fine again, not killing me. A nice warm bed... Actually, I got up so late this morning my Mum looked surprised to see me home. She seriously had thought I had spent my night somewhere else. I didn´t ask where she thought I was. I didn´t want to know.

I´m off to treat my obsession, after I have written an email. Next time I promise to have something to say. Until that, take care.
