It was strange how beautiful a morning today was, after all that happened yesterday. But it was one of the loveliest for ages.
You know, these things should never happen. Not here, not anywhere. People abroad (after reading a couple of boards) are shocked. They can not believe this kind of thing has happened in Finland. Again. I´m glad the media has learned something from last year, but I still find it horrible that every magazine today is running a minute-by-minute article about the incident. I don´t know what to think of the front page of today´s Helsingin Sanomat. In a way it was good, but in a way it was bad.
The discussion about gun laws, youth mental health, bullying, of all that begins again. The elections are coming, maybe now it is time to actually do something, not just promise. Things need to be done. Young people need to get treated when they start feeling bad, not when they are desperate. Maybe there is a thing or two that can be fixed in our health care system.
And, talk. It helps. Really. (summertherapysessionsinparks) And slow down. Take time for yourself.
I am having some good news too. This isn´t the most important thing in the world, but Arsenal beat Sheffield United at the Carling Cup 6-0 with Vela´s hat-trick. Young Guns (no pun intented, don´t take this the wrong way) were convincing yesterday.
A piece of music news also. Kent is getting out a box that includes all their albums, new tracks and a book with interviews, pictures and that kind of stuff. The price is likely to be around 45 €, but I´m considering buying it anyway. I won´t post the cover picture, since it is a gun being fired. Nothing fun about it at the moment. If you want to see it, go to their website.
I´m heading to grandma´s now. Will be back in Friday. Take care, see you later.
