When It Started.

I´m off for four days and I miss every huge speculation... No, Fabregas isn´t going to Real Madrid eventhough pretty much every British newspaper has reported his transfer-as rumours at least. The Fab 4 himself has said he´s happy with Gunners and is going nowhere. Thank god for that. The "guess who´s going to be the Arsenal captain this season" -game is also rolling right now. Most say Gallas will keep his band, because if he is stripped off captaincy there is a chance he´ll leave the team. And no one wants that, it´s damn hard to get anyone to replace him. Nothing interesting till the season begins I guess. Few football mags I saw at the store today did make me gasp air. So good articles and that kind of stuff. A huge poster of a certain person was my favourite. No, I did not buy it. I just raided every single piece of newspaper that was published around midsummer from our summer cottage. Few pretty interesting findings, not that any of those beat the lovely Österreich... I am also a proud owner of the best t-shirt I´ve ever seen. Really dig it.

Mäntsälä is so lame. Really, if you want to learn a new language (brush up something you once learned and have now completely forgotten, like I have) you have to go to Järvenpää. How stupid, but apparently that is what has to be done.

Oh, weekend away from here. Well, the summer theatre was funny. Full Monty, featuring Risto Kaskilahti and Jussi Lampi among others. And one guy from Hunks. (Still a major turn off, don´t understand what women see in those guys.) The band was great, bassist read a science mag and one of the sax players was pretty good looking. Cottage... Well, I did swim. Though the water wasn´t that warm. And played a lot of badminton. My folks both got sunburn, I have apparently learned something. And my dad made a visit to a hospital on Saturday evening after cutting his fingertip with an axe. It didn´t look too bad, but it had to be stiched up and since our cottage is really in the middle of nowhere it took him quite a while to get to see a doctor. Rest was just being. Reading, doing nothing. The usual stuff. The boring stuff. I am going to stay home for the rest of the summer. Or at least around civilization. It´s funny how much one can miss newspapers. I did read headlines when we were in Mikkeli. Foreign tourists bring foreign mags to the stores with them, so I had a laugh when I saw Bunte. I assume it´s German, since it had Ballack on cover. Bridegroom Ballack, who we saw in Italy when watching TV and who looked really odd. It was like a "hey, I´ve seen that thing before" -moment. Really, nothing interesting. My life has been pretty boring lately. A movie review can be expected this week. And maybe something else if I´m up to it. We´ll see.
