I´ve been bored. I have seen way too many Youtube videos and read way too many articles. It is fun to laugh at all the football mags that had no faith in Spain. "Good in paper, bad in game" and "Same as always, nothing special". How wrong they were. Maybe next time they´ll actually think that Spain is good. My phone also made me laugh. It was bought in May and I randomly chose between two colours. Well, as some might know, the phone is red and gold. And what country carried those colours...? Exactly. Maybe I should name it too, like I have done with my other electronic stuff. Any suggestions? Nah... I did really find the left-handed footballer. By accident after watching tens of videos. It´s funny actually. The Catalan Fabregas (leftie, but right-footed) has always been one of my personal favourites, I think he is one of world´s best midfielders and in the future prolly one of the most respected players. Still I have never bothered to find out if he is a leftie, which is something I do with so many other people. But now I know and we can quit the search. Like it was finally found out yesterday that German Joachim Löw is not a leftie even though he wears his watch on his right hand. Like I said, bored. Oh, Premier League´s website told me that Rosicky is going to miss the season kick-off. He is hoping to be fit to play in September. Fingers crossed.
Fuck. Not even Thomas Cook can get us to the Emirates Stadium as their packages are for residents of UK and Ireland only. Fuck. Now I really want the Red membership. It would be like the greatest birthday/Christmas/whatever gift ever. If I hint about it tomorrow. Or then I just could ask if I could use dad´s credit card and pay him back. Not like I have loads of money, but I want to get to a match. I am even ready to go and see some other game than that against Liverpool. Just any game, but I want to. Now I´m starting to think I´m desperate. Too much football lately, way too much. I even did the list of players I´d like to see play "live". I know it will become even longer when I really get into thinking about it. I will tell it someday (tomorrow wouldn´t be a bad guess), just wait. I did have something else to write about than the King of Sports...
I noticed I´m already yerning for a new trip and I haven´t been home for more than three days. There is nothing here. Nothing. Quiet and same old things. I want something new. I want to get to London. And I wish it was next spring already. I am so going to be south then. Even if there is no job and I´d have live in a hostel. But I want to get there too. I got to find the books that I can start prepping my language skills. Mom said there is nothing bad at having a year off from school and studies but then again she has no idea of the plans that were made at one night. It will be a long holiday if nothing else works, but I could bet a hundred that I´m not here in, let´s say, April-May 2009. And I hope I´m not away alone ;).
Travel photos are on Flickr. There is only a fraction of the photos and they only show our trip till Zagreb since I went over the limit. The rest will appear at the beginnig of August or as soon as it´s possible. None of the pictures have been moderated or Photoshopped, they are just like they appear on my camera. The sky really was that blue. I can´t wait to get the Monaco pics uploaded, they turned out so beautiful.
A reading tip while waiting for the last Twilight book. Try The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It´s marvellous. The way he writes is lovely. I just started reading it but it has already charmed me totally.
More later, I have to catch up with ETS now.
IWFT (Forgot it last time since it took me ages to write the post, sorry.)
