Zagreb, Croatia
We have seen the Hungarian Parliament from every possible angle. And we walked to the top of Citadell, the highest point of Budapest. It was a bit warm... And we could not use any easier route. It was ok, when we finally got to the top, the view was pretty. Finding a way to the Buda castle was not that easy. We ran into a couple of Canadian boys -four times- while trying to find the castle. And when we did get there we sat in front of a... Well, I do not know what he building was. But it was nice, just sitting there, talking about really important stuff. We have the rest of our lives planned already... Seriously, we managed to see over 75 percent of the sights of Budapest which is a lot. The train trip to Zagreb was the most boring ever. It took six hours. Sleeping would have been nice but the seats were no good for that. The best part must have been when the customs officer or whatever started asking how long are we staying in Croatia and what are we going to do. Like I had the answers ready at that hour of the day. Finding our hostel could have been easier if the directions had been a little better. But we managed to get here. Nothing wrong with this place, people on the dorm could be nicer, more talkative, others than the one Aussie. He is fine, just having difficulties understanding him... Zagreb is not too big, we have again sat in a park and seen prolly all the sights. If you like shoe shops, then this is your city. We are heading towards Ljubljana tomorrow. Maybe it has a bit more eye-candy than this city, because all the guys we have seen have just been nice looking or fine, not drop dead gorgeous. Or maybe we just have too high standards... Judging by our conversations, we do have. Oh, all the conversations... I had the first rational thought today. The first in like a week. Nobody wants to know what we have talked about, it is too shameless. More from Ljubljana, if I feel like writing. If I have anything to write about. Maybe someone asks us out for the third time and we finally say yes... Or then not.
